The Plough was rescued in June 2009, by Punch Bowl Inns. What began as a six month refurbishment became twelve months, these things so often do. The place was stripped, gutted, a few walls ripped out, the floors came up and the roof came down and finally.... it has been rebuilt and newly furnished. The result, we hope you agree, was well worth the effort. The Plough interior is now a beautiful open space in which to relax and be easy; with wood burning stoves, stunning oak beams, antique furniture, and rustic wine caves. After a further 12 months of renovation the first floor accommodation is now complete, adding 5 luxury ensuite rooms. Each room has its own individual style, having either a super king or king size bed, flat screen TVs, and en suite bathrooms with limestone or travertine floors, fabulous free standing, roll topped baths and separate rainfall showers.
The aerial photos vary in detail across the country so while in many areas you will be able to view buildings clearly, in other parts where only satellite imagery is available, you can see considerably less detail. In some cases the hotel positions provided to us are not accurate so the centre of the photo may be not be where the hotel is. Also, some of the photos are several years old so new hotels may show up as empty plots of land!
The maps are shown to help you see where the hotel is located but you should confirm the
exact position and directions to the hotel before you book. Mileages are based on the direct line, "as the crow files"
and not on the distance by road.
